Anglers and Dolphins in the Gulf: Public Input Forum

WELCOME

The purpose of this public input forum is to hear directly from recreational anglers, charter captains, guides, and other members of the Gulf Coast fishing community about their firsthand experiences with dolphins in the Gulf. Members of the recreational and for-hire Gulf Coast fishing community are invited to share their knowledge, observations, and experiences to help build a more complete understanding of angler-dolphin interactions and to inform practical solutions.

The online forum will be open for input until January 10, 2027.

Responsive Management, an independent research firm specializing in natural resource and outdoor recreation issues, is conducting the public input forum as part of a project selected by the Regionwide Trustee Implementation Group in Final Restoration Plan/Environmental Assessment #1, funded through the Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Damage Assessment settlement.
